Born in Jamestown, NC, Rayveness grew up a sizzling southern belle, giving off a subtle aura of steamy sexuality all the way back from her high school days. She was married before graduation and shortly thereafter moved to Orlando, FL with her new husband. Working in a fast food restaurant and then as a flower girl, Rayveness entered the world of adult entertainment slowly when she began waitressing at a local strip club. Her husband was not supportive of her new calling, however, and that was one of the breaking points that led to their separation. Moving back to NC, Rayveness began stripping and continued to make films. From 1990 to 1998 she completed over 170 films, starring in scenes with mostly women. In 1995, she became the first official spokesmodel for one of the largest adult toy manufacturers in the industry, Topco Sales. In 1998 she began working with men. Today she has a line of over 42 sex toys, everything from dildos and vibrators to molds of her own body parts, along with over 270 films to her name.
