Aurora Snow was born on November 26, 1981 in Santa Maria, California, where she spent her childhood. She was the least likely in high school to become an adult super star. Aurora was happiest with her nose in a book. Engrossed by stories of other people's lives, she could live out her dreams vicariously. After high school, Aurora went on to the University of California, Irvine. Theater had been a big part of Aurora's life since age twelve, so she enrolled as a theater major. For reasons unknown, she changed her major to business. As her first year of college came to an end, Aurora answered an ad for nude models. Soon after she was ready to start her career as an adult star. There were a lot of things that she shied away from in the beginning. It was almost a full year before doing anal on screen.
