Biography:
Sean is the most successful black performer in the history of the adult industry. He's a hard working guy who has parlayed a tireless production schedule into one of the longest careers of any African-American performer. Sean began his career after moving from New York to LA in 1989. His above above-average acting skills enabled him to land roles that hadn't previously gone to black actors. He has run into racism in the industry, though, with many white actresses refusing to work with him. Even in the "free thinking" world of porn, racism still is a problem. Sean has been edited out of several videos by directors who were afraid to unleash such hard-core interracial sex on their audiences.
Sean moved behind the camera in 1993 to helm the Sean Michaels On The Road Series. Since then, Sean's efforts as a producer and director have kept him at the forefront of black-themed and interracial films and videos. Starring in over 700 features and one of the most talented directors in the industry. Sean has been awarded membership in AVN's Hall of Fame and is a two time winner of FOXE's Favorite Male Performer of the Year award.
