John Strong was born in Ukraine SSR, Soviet Union on April 9, 1969 and moved to the United States as a child, becoming a naturalized citizen.
When he was 29 years old, John started working in the adult industry as a male performer. He took up directing as another facet of his successful career in 2002. John is prolific and passionate whether in front of the camera or behind it, with well over a thousand performances and over a hundred movies under his belt as director. In 2008 Adam Film World Guide named him Male Performer of the Year. He has been nominated for the same award at AVN twice, along with nods for a number of other AVN Awards.
